Front Desk Host

About This Role

Serve as a Front Desk Host at Dollywood's DreamMore Resort & Spa, assisting guests with check-in and check-out while providing personalized and excellent customer service. This role ensures efficient and courteous operation of front desk duties, contributing to memorable guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests in a friendly, upbeat, and positive manner, solve minor problems, and ensure guests have a great stay
• Enter data into computer, including minor accounting functions
• Register guests in and out of the conference center/resort
• Establish and secure proper guest credit, handle billing questions and inquiries
• Utilize customer service skills to help solve guest-related problems within scope of authority
• Answer and direct all incoming and in-house calls on the main switchboard console promptly and efficiently
• Make hospitality calls for new arrivals nightly
• Perform all accounting duties including posting charges, account settlements, and shift closing
• Maintain the front lobby area, ensuring cleanliness at all times
• Coordinate guest recreation as needed and assist Conference Planning staff
• Maintain accurate daily event information and posting of event sheet
• Maintain supply of informational brochures, flyers, and maps
• Maintain current knowledge of events in the area, points of interest, and services
• Possess comprehensive knowledge of the park hours and special events

Requirements

• At least six (6) months directly related front desk experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screen
