Facilities Technician II

About This Role

The Facilities Technician II at Dollywood's DreamMore Resort & Spa monitors, operates, and maintains building equipment and structures, ensuring a high-quality experience for guests. This role supports the Dollywood Resorts by performing maintenance on various systems and structures, contributing to the care and growth of the resort footprint.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment using proper tools in a skilled craftsman-like manner
• Perform assignments as directed by the Director of Facilities and Facilities Manager
• Assume duties of other mechanics when required, including light carpentry, plumbing, grounds maintenance, electrical, painting, and pool and spa maintenance
• Perform regularly scheduled guest room preventative maintenance to keep rooms in "like new" condition
• Ensure exterior grounds are regularly maintained and free of debris
• Ensure exterior water features are well maintained, free of algae and debris
• Complete regular property tours and inspections, identifying and repairing defects
• Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment
• Repair all malfunctioning mechanical devices
• Utilize HOTSOS Work Order System for repair requests (carpentry, electrical, electronics, plumbing, HVAC, carpeting, painting)
• Maintain pools and spas
• Respond to guest room calls and assist guests with room issues
• Become a specialist in a specific skill (electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry)
• Acquire AFO Certification

Requirements

• Minimum 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum two-year job-related experience
• Thorough knowledge of a specialized trade or technical field
• Ability to display and live out Lead with Love qualities rooted in Dollywood Company culture
• Valid driver’s license and insurance
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs
