Forklift Operator

About This Role

Safely and efficiently operate a motorized forklift to manage the movement of bottled water products within the warehouse and to load/unload trucks. Maintain inventory accuracy and ensure a safe work environment by adhering to procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate motorized forklift to load and unload trucks, pull finished products, and place them in the warehouse
• Drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus using levers and pedals
• Unload and stack material by manipulating lifting device
• Plan and schedule material deliveries to the production area
• Retrieve, verify, and secure supplies and materials on pallets, then move them to production locations
• Monitor inventory in the production area and report discrepancies
• Clear production areas by moving finished goods and empty pallets
• Document movements of supplies, materials, and finished goods
• Maintain a safe work environment by being aware of foot traffic and complying with regulations
• Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot breakdowns, and call for repairs on forklifts

Requirements

• Ability to safely operate a sit down motorized forklift
• Ability to navigate within a WMS system
• Minimum Professional proficiency in a foreign language

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent work experience
• 0 years experience in field or similar manufacturing environment

Nice to Have

• 2 years experience in manufacturing environment
• Associate's Degree
