This role is responsible for accurate inventory control within a plant environment, checking trucks in and out, and utilizing WMS and material handling equipment to maintain efficiency and safety. The team member will also ensure proper storage, monitor LGV activity, and facilitate communication between departments.
Responsibilities
- Receive all inbound orders into WMS including spring water, resin, corrugated materials, film, labels, UPS, Federal Express, and water transfers
- Rebuild damaged pallets prior to restock and process RMAs
- Consolidate finished goods storage for maximum storage capabilities
- Identify, report, and observe quality issues with finished goods and raw materials
- Validate new SKUs in WMS to ensure proper LGV storage and handling
- Correct LGV alarms and monitor loads
- Unload finished goods and raw material deliveries utilizing a forklift
- Maintain pallet storage area by offloading pallets from trailers and staging for LGVs
- Correct product spills and manually pull pallets from production as needed
- Supply production with non-inventory items (glue, bags, labels etc.)
- Clear up blocked locations in WMS and air bag loads
- Facilitate information flow between logistics, production, and sales for timely customer service
- Test and monitor resin and spring water, coordinating preload activities and inspecting trailers
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- 0 years experience in field or similar manufacturing environment
Nice to Have
- Associate's Degree
- 2 years experience in field or similar manufacturing environment
- 2 years experience working in position
- 2 years experience managing people/projects
