About This Role

Operate a forklift to safely and efficiently move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise within a fast-paced warehouse environment for a heavy industrial/commercial construction contractor.

Responsibilities

Operate a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise
Load and unload trucks, containers, and trailers
Inspect and perform maintenance checks on forklifts
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Assist with other warehouse duties as needed
Work safely around hazards associated with the construction field
Use hand, electric, pneumatic, and hydraulic tools in a safe manner
Lift, carry, and hold building materials and supplies

Requirements

Valid driver’s license
Forklift operator certification
At least 1 year of experience operating a forklift in a warehouse environment
Ability to successfully complete all required pre-hire requirements

Qualifications

At least 1 year of experience operating a forklift in a warehouse environment
