Operate a forklift to safely move freight in and out of trailers at the Sauget, IL service center. This full-time role requires dependable individuals capable of working in a fast-paced, non-climate-controlled environment.
Responsibilities
- Move all different types of freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53’ long
- Operate a forklift on a roofed but non-climate-controlled dock
Requirements
- Ability to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty
- Ability to read manifests
- Ability to read/interact with a computer display
- Forklift experience
- Dependable
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment
Qualifications
- Forklift experience required, previous experience in a fast-paced LTL environment preferred.
Nice to Have
- Previous forklift experience in a fast-paced environment
- Some LTL experiences
