This role involves the preparation, assembly, and delivery of meals and food items to patients, hospital staff, and visitors, while actively participating in providing nutritional care to patients.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the preparation, assembly, and delivery of meals and food items for patients, hospital staff, and visitors
- Participate in providing nutritional care to patients
- Practice proper food handling techniques
- Maintain an appropriate level of sanitation in the department
Requirements
- Ability to read and communicate in the English language
- Interpersonal communication skills
- 5 days of availability
- Work 3 out of 4 weekends a month
- Holiday rotation availability
Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent preferred
- Previous food service experience is not required, but is preferred.
