Assist in food service preparation and cooking nutritious meals for the Durango Senior lunch program, ensuring adherence to dietary instructions and maintaining a clean work environment.
Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare food as directed
- Assist in cooking food according to prescribed menus and client's dietary instructions
- Help to prepare meals for distribution to clients and serve food to clients
- Clean and maintain work areas
- Stock food items
- Operate a variety of cooking and cleaning equipment
- Maintain records of activities
- Serve as Food Service Manager in his/her absence
Qualifications
- Some prior food preparation and/or cooking experience preferred
Nice to Have
- Experience in large volume cooking
- Some prior food preparation and/or cooking experience
