As a Food Service Assistant I, you will deliver nutritious meals and warm service to patients at Christiana Hospital. You will be responsible for assembling trays, preparing modified diets, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, directly supporting patient healing and comfort.
Responsibilities
- Assemble patient meal trays with accuracy and care
- Prepare trays for modified diets and understand dietary restrictions
- Operate dishwashing and sanitation equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and follow infection prevention protocols
- Demonstrate ChristianaCare’s core values in every interaction
Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
