Food Service Aide/Dietary Aide

About This Role

This role involves performing a variety of patient food services, including food preparation, serving, and clean up, to support the recovery of critically ill patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of patient food services
• Perform dining room services
• Perform dish room services
• Assist in food preparations
• Serve prepared food to patients, families, staff, and visitors
• Assist in clean up
• Ensure timely and efficient food preparation
• Provide high quality food preparation and service
• Complete all procedures scheduled during the shift without compromising quality
• Volunteer to help in other areas of the kitchen when necessary
• Operate equipment and perform related duties in a safe manner

Nice to Have

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous healthcare food service experience
