Financial Analyst

About This Role

Support the Finance Director and General Manager by analyzing program performance against budgets and forecasts, and contributing to financial planning and strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Analyze program performance to budget and forecast
• Support programs of varying types, size, complexity, and level of risk
• Communicate operating company’s financial performance, plan, and targets to various levels of the organization
• Investigate and analyze monthly variances to the forecast, plan, prior period, and prior year
• Conduct ad-hoc analysis for strategic and operational initiatives
• Partner with functional managers to develop monthly forecasts and budgets
• Proactively identify risks and opportunities
• Effectively communicate data-driven recommendations to move the business forward

Requirements

• 3-5 years of FP&A or financial analyst experience
• Strong Excel skills
• Strong financial modeling or data analytics skills
• Ability to build strong relationships in a team environment
• Intellectual curiosity and learning agility
• Motivation for continuous improvements
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or similar fields.
• 3 - 5 years of FP&A or financial analyst experience.

Nice to Have

• Government accounting knowledge
• GAAP knowledge
• Manufacturing industry experience
