Support the Finance Director and General Manager by analyzing program performance against budgets and forecasts, and contributing to financial planning and strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Analyze program performance to budget and forecast
- Support programs of varying types, size, complexity, and level of risk
- Communicate operating company’s financial performance, plan, and targets to various levels of the organization
- Investigate and analyze monthly variances to the forecast, plan, prior period, and prior year
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis for strategic and operational initiatives
- Partner with functional managers to develop monthly forecasts and budgets
- Proactively identify risks and opportunities
- Effectively communicate data-driven recommendations to move the business forward
Requirements
- 3-5 years of FP&A or financial analyst experience
- Strong Excel skills
- Strong financial modeling or data analytics skills
- Ability to build strong relationships in a team environment
- Intellectual curiosity and learning agility
- Motivation for continuous improvements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or similar fields.
- 3 - 5 years of FP&A or financial analyst experience.
Nice to Have
- Government accounting knowledge
- GAAP knowledge
- Manufacturing industry experience
