As a Mechanical Assembler, you will drive continuous improvement in operations and assembly processes, working with inert and energetic materials. This role involves performing various production assembly operations on components and sub-assemblies, utilizing visual aids and instructions.
Responsibilities
- Weigh and press inert & energetic materials
- Set up and use analytical balance
- Perform inert assembly operations
- Perform minor cabling, potting, tinning and assembly work
- Set up and use powder press for pressing operation
- Perform various production assembly operations on components and subassemblies
- Use visual aids, drawings and verbal and written instruction to assemble, modify, re-work or re-assemble units
- Install sub-assemblies
- Display proficient dexterity to insure safe handling of explosive devices
- Attend offsite training classes to maintain certification requirements if required
Requirements
- Ability to understand, speak, read and write in English
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Qualifications
- 1 year industry assembly work preferred
Nice to Have
- Soldering experience
