As an Electronic Assembler, you will perform various production assembly operations on components and subassemblies for critical military and commercial applications. You will drive continuous improvement in the electronics production process and contribute to products that are relied upon in mission-critical advancements.
Responsibilities
- Perform various production assembly operations on components and subassemblies.
- Use visual aids, drawings, and verbal and written instruction to assemble, modify, re-work or re-assemble units.
- Identify component values and hand load PCB assembly following schematics and visual aids.
- Solder various electronic component sizes following industry standards, including fine pitch components.
- Read/interrupt customer, engineer drawings or visual aids and incorporate call outs onto assembly.
- Solder under a microscope and identify and repair soldering anomalies.
- Solder with lead and lead-free solder.
- Attend offsite training classes to maintain certification requirements (if required).
Requirements
- Working knowledge of ESD prevention and product handling
- Highly flexible individual with good interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-starter, able to plan, execute, and follow to completion assigned tasks
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
