Financial Analyst

About This Role

This Financial Analyst role contributes to the design, testing, and rollout of a new CostIT Planning model, influencing strategic decisions and financial forecasting for technology costs within Fidelity. The role focuses on delivering insights that drive smarter decisions and supporting the transformation of technology cost management.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design, testing, and rollout of a new CostIT Planning model used in executive-level technology portfolio reviews
• Build financial forecasts that inform strategic decisions on cost and resource allocation
• Partner with cross-functional teams including Anaplan COE, CST Technology, Reporting COE, BU IT Finance, and IT Strategy & Planning
• Perform financial analysis, modeling, and reporting using tools like Power BI, while supporting project management and adoption efforts
• Present findings and recommendations to senior leaders across Finance and Technology

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business
• 2-3 years of financial or business analysis experience
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
• Confidence to interact with senior management and build relationships across the company
• Ability to see strategic implications while maintaining attention to detail
• Solid knowledge of Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business
• 2-3 years of financial or business analysis experience (preferably in technology organizations)

Nice to Have

• Experience in technology organizations
• Experience with or willingness to learn tools like Anaplan, Power BI, Snowflake, and Alteryx
