Director, Digital Asset Strategist

About This Role

The Director, Digital Asset Strategist will drive adoption of digital assets within portfolios by engaging with intermediary client teams and providing advanced investment insights. This role shapes how digital assets integrate into traditional investment frameworks and contributes to thought leadership in this evolving asset class.

Responsibilities

• Drive conversations with intermediary investment teams to promote digital asset adoption in adviser portfolios
• Partner with the FDAM investment team to deliver advanced investment and portfolio construction insights focused on digital assets
• Apply deep understanding of global macro trends, capital markets, and digital asset market structure
• Collaborate with investment, research, marketing, and data science teams to produce thought leadership
• Represent FDAM on investment panels, at conferences, and at client events
• Communicate complex digital asset concepts with clarity and conviction to diverse audiences
• Foster a collaborative culture across FDAM and the broader Fidelity organization
• Use AI tools to enhance production and scale workflows

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of client-facing investment experience in financial services
• Strong grasp of the intermediary/wealth management investor landscape
• Deep understanding of portfolio construction, investment analytics, and capital markets
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other data visualization tools
• Working knowledge of Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana and other digital assets
• Familiarity of digital asset market structure, including liquidity dynamics, product structures, and tokenization
• Proven ability to lead strategic conversations with clients and internal stakeholders
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative mindset

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of client-facing investment experience in financial services
