Financial Analyst

About This Role

This Financial Analyst position at EMCOR Facilities Services supports the Pricing & Solutions Team by analyzing financial data and developing cost estimates for new business and retention opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Support the Baseline, Pricing, and Benchmarking Processes and IFM Growth Initiatives
• Analyze historical facility maintenance spend data to construct "Baseline Spend" documents for new business opportunities
• Analyze and interpret Mechanical Assets to perform bottom-up cost estimates for Preventative and Reactive Maintenance
• Analyze and interpret scope documents, lease abstracts, baseline data, and property tables
• Organize and manage a centralized cost estimating database and internal benchmarking process
• Prepare cost estimates and savings opportunities for new business opportunities
• Prepare financial summary reporting and estimates for Executive staff
• Build proposal documents (bid sheets) for prospects
• Price contract renewals for existing business

Requirements

• Undergraduate Degree
• Financial/Business Analyst experience or Facilities Maintenance industry experience
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Advanced Formulas such as V-lookups, SUMIF)
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to process large volumes of data quickly
• Ability to master new technology quickly
• Flexible individual willing to work both as a team member and on their own
• Ability to think both strategically and critically

Qualifications

• Undergraduate Degree
• Entry level with financial/business analyst experience or Facilities Maintenance industry experience
