Field Service Engineer

About This Role

Provide on-site preventative maintenance, installation, and training for Anton Paar's high-precision measuring instruments, primarily in the Midwest region. This role involves troubleshooting, repair, and calibration at customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site service including preventive maintenance, calibration, installation, and training across all product lines primarily in the Midwest
• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and calibration of instruments at customer sites within the assigned region
• Manage inventory, trip planning, and administrative tasks related to service functions

Requirements

• 3+ years experience in troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining complex analytical instruments
• Ability to work independently and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction
• Ability to work with electronic schematics, test equipment, and repair tools
• Associate's degree in engineering or related technical field
• Availability for frequent overnight travel (total travel up to 90%)
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Passport
