Join a dynamic, interprofessional team as a Family Physician in the Kootenay region of British Columbia, focusing on longitudinal primary care with flexible scheduling and optional hospital-based work. This role offers the freedom from clinic administration, allowing for dedicated patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide longitudinal primary care as a Family Physician
- Focus on direct patient care, minimizing administrative tasks
- Optionally pursue hospital-based work in ER, Hospitalist, Obstetrics, Oncology, Mental Health, OR Assists, and Long-Term Care
- Optionally pursue expanded scopes in maternity, addictions, and mental health care
- Precept Family Medicine residents and 3rd-year medical students through the Integrated Clinical Clerkship (UBC teaching site)
Requirements
- Certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CCFP) or equivalent
- Eligibility for licensure with the CPSBC
