Engineering Technician

About This Role

This Engineering Technician role involves calibrating tools, creating and updating CAD models, and performing inspections, while supporting design, manufacturing, and quality processes within an aerospace component manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate tools and fixtures
• Create and update CAD models and drawings
• Scan and evaluate parts for accuracy
• Assist with tool design, manufacture, and documentation
• Perform first article inspections
• Support root cause investigations and corrective actions
• Collect and analyze manufacturing data

Requirements

• Proficient in 3D CAD (NX or KeyCreator preferred, SolidWorks acceptable)
• Strong knowledge of GD&T and machining processes
• Excellent communication, organization, and computer skills
• Ability to work independently and in teams

Nice to Have

• EDM and CMM experience
• Familiarity with PC-DMIS, Geomagic, or similar software
