Engineering Technician

About This Role

Support production activities within a fast-paced manufacturing environment by performing quality and diagnostic tasks, collaborating with engineers, and maintaining strict safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality and diagnostic tasks according to written instructions and product specifications
• Work collaboratively on an engineering team alongside manufacturing engineers
• Follow established, routine procedures with close oversight and escalate complex issues to senior staff or supervisors
• Maintain an organized and efficient workstation following 5S and general workplace organization standards
• Inspect work for accuracy and compliance with requirements
• Follow visual aids, diagrams, and standard operating procedures
• Maintain accurate production records and logs in manual or digital formats
• Participate in cross-functional communication to report issues, support corrective actions, and improve processes

Requirements

• Experience in engineering, troubleshooting, electrical, mechanical, electronics, schematic interpretation, assembly, and wiring
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
• Basic computer skills including data entry, recordkeeping, and navigating software tools
• Strong problem-solving skills with ability to work through routine tasks independently

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent years of experience
• Entry level with experience in engineering, troubleshooting, electrical, mechanical, or electronics

Nice to Have

• Capability to respond to shifting priorities, production deadlines, and occasional interruptions
• Willingness to work overtime if required
