This role is for a Board Eligible or Board Certified Emergency or Family Medicine Physician to provide critical care in the dynamic emergency department of CHI St. Joseph's Park Rapids, Minnesota. The physician will diagnose and treat diverse patient populations, making rapid decisions that save lives and contributing significantly to the community and its many visitors.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat medical conditions, developing and implementing comprehensive treatment plans
- Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams, fostering a collaborative approach
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations
- Work with healthcare professionals and participate in interdisciplinary meetings
- Engage in quality assurance initiatives and analyze clinical outcomes for improvement
- Adhere to ethical standards and stay informed about healthcare regulations
- Stay updated on medical advancements and participate in ongoing education and training
Requirements
- Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) Physician (Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine)
