Clinic LPN

About This Role

As a Clinic Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will manage patient care, ensure efficient clinic operations, and proactively prepare patient charts, collaborating with a clinical team to maintain seamless patient flow.

Responsibilities

• Manage care for multiple patients, adapting to physician availability
• Actively collaborate with the clinical team to prioritize tasks and ensure seamless patient flow
• Perform intake of vital signs, current medications, allergies, and patient history
• Assess patients for abuse and suicide risks
• Perform procedures, administer medications, and assist patients with care
• Return telephone calls and test results to patients/caregivers
• Perform general office duties such as ordering supplies, stocking rooms, and managing records
• Monitor outdates of supplies and medications, and provider’s schedules for inaccuracies
• Prepare essential paperwork and supplies for offsite locations and travel if needed
• Coordinate schedules for patients and providers with a multi-disciplinary team
• Utilize various software programs and EMR for patient chart preparation and research
• Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with patients, families, visitors, and Medical Center Staff

Requirements

• Licensed Practical Nurse Degree from an approved school of nursing
• Licensed Practical Nurse: ND, upon hire
• Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
