Perform a wide variety of technical tasks in the production and repair test environment, including testing, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic and electromechanical assemblies. Utilize various test equipment and documentation to maintain and adjust analog, digital, and high voltage circuits.
Responsibilities
- Perform test, troubleshooting, and repairs on electronic and electromechanical assemblies
- Assist in the development of procedures for test and repair
- Select, set up and operate electronic and scientific test equipment
- Observe, analyze, and report test data, making necessary repairs/adjustments to equipment
- Utilize engineering drawings, schematics, manuals, and related documentation
- Perform advanced cable testing and troubleshooting activities using specialized equipment
- Perform test, alignment, and troubleshooting on analog and digital circuits
- Document test failures and rework tasking in the S4 tracking system
- Interact professionally with Engineering, Operations Excellence, and Manufacturing Depot Operations (MDO) personnel
- Prioritize workload using PSL reports and support various MDO programs
- Provide cable troubleshooting support for integrated assemblies
- Provide training as required or requested
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience testing and troubleshooting electronic circuitry
- Ability to read and interpret drawings to perform measurements and troubleshoot electronic equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to proactively identify alternate solutions
- Proficient with Microsoft Office/computers
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD secret clearance
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in the electronics industry or equivalent military electronics experience; minimum 3 years’ experience testing and troubleshooting electronic circuitry.
Nice to Have
- Ability to perform component level troubleshooting
- Experience with Radio Frequency (RF) technology
- Ability to clearly document work performed in an electronic tracking system
