About This Role

GAI Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Transportation Engineer to work in Cranberry Township, PA, focusing on transportation design and traffic analysis. This role is designed for a new graduate to develop into a well-rounded engineer in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform transportation design including roadway design and traffic analysis.
  • Prepare reports, maps, drawings, bid documents, and project plans.
  • Collect data and gather information or documents.
  • Participate in laboratory testing and field investigations.
  • Perform basic computations or analysis.
  • Assist with preparation of engineering deliverables.
  • Observe construction activities.
  • Manage personal tasks and adhere to deadlines and scope.

Requirements

  • Passed Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Foundational engineering concepts through undergraduate-level education

Qualifications

  • B.S. or M.S. Engineering
  • 0+ years of experience.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledgeable in MicroStation
  • Familiarity with roadway design software such as OpenRoads Designer
