About This Role

This Entry Level Engineer role within the Transportation Business Unit focuses on transportation design, including roadway design and traffic analysis, and preparing technical documents. The successful candidate will apply foundational engineering concepts and develop professionally through mentored experience.

Responsibilities

  • Perform transportation design including roadway design and traffic analysis
  • Prepare reports, maps, drawings, bid documents, and project plans
  • Collect data and gather information or documents
  • Participate in laboratory testing and field investigations
  • Perform basic computations or analysis
  • Assist with the preparation of engineering deliverables
  • Observe construction activities
  • Manage personal tasks and adhere to deadlines and scope

Requirements

  • Passed Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

Qualifications

  • B.S. or M.S. Engineering
  • Entry level / 0+ years of experience

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of MicroStation
  • Familiarity with roadway design software such as OpenRoads OR GEOPAK
