Early Childhood Toddler Teacher

About This Role

This role involves creating engaging activities and maintaining open communication with parents to support the development of toddlers. The teacher will ensure a safe and clean classroom environment by adhering to established procedures and guidelines, making a meaningful impact on young children's lives.

Responsibilities

• Create hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children
• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• 12 Child Development units completed: Child Development, Child, Family, and Community, Introduction to Curriculum, and Principles and Practices
• Infant and Toddler Development class if applying for an Infant or Toddler position
• Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) for children

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required. CDA, Associate, or bachelor’s degree in early education or related field is preferred.
