About This Role

As an Early Childhood Substitute Teacher, you will nurture young learners by assisting with hands-on activities and ensuring a safe and clean classroom environment. This role allows for flexibility to work in different centers and with various age groups, making a meaningful impact on children's lives.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children
• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines

Requirements

• 18 years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• 12 ECE units completed: Child Development, Child Family Community and 2 curriculum courses

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required, 12 ECE units completed
• 1 year of experience working in child care, daycare, or preschool settings is preferred

Nice to Have

• 1 year of experience working in child care, daycare, or preschool settings
• CDA, Associate, or bachelor’s degree in early education or related field
