Support a large-scale digitization initiative by converting physical documents into secure digital formats. This role involves both document preparation and scanning to improve accessibility and efficiency of records.
Responsibilities
- Organize and prepare physical documents for scanning, including removing staples and paper clips, and sorting files
- Lift and move boxes of records weighing approximately 35-50 pounds
- Maintain document integrity and order throughout the process
- Operate industrial scanners to digitize documents
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of scanned files
- Upload scanned files into secure databases
- Travel between various offices within the assigned region as required
- View sensitive content as part of daily responsibilities
- Escalate issues and provide process improvement feedback
Requirements
- Experience with document scanning or large-scale digitization projects
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Familiarity with secure document handling
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Proficiency with Office 365 (Word, Excel, Windows Scheduler)
- Must be local to assigned region (New Orleans, LA)
- Smartphone required for team communication
- Strong tenure in previous roles (no more than 2 jobs in the past 2 years)
- Reliable transportation
