Manage a designated territory's sales goals and retail operations, ensuring superior customer service and adherence to company policies and procedures. This role involves supervising and developing Shop Managers and their teams.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and develop Shop Managers, Assistant Managers, and Lead Associates, including recruitment, hiring, training, performance management, and evaluation.
- Identify and develop internal candidates for promotion to Area Managers, Shop Managers, and Assistant Managers.
- Communicate territory sales goals and supervise efforts to achieve them, providing direction on selling techniques, customer service, and visual merchandising.
- Review, assess, and analyze monthly financial statements and reports to identify trends, problems, and growth opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with all shop operational guidelines, including organizational standards, product management, safety, and loss prevention.
- Maintain a plan for fast, friendly customer service and resolve customer complaints as needed.
- Communicate and coach the shop management team on sales and shop expense goals.
- Allocate budgeted hours, monitor results, and prepare shop schedules within legal guidelines.
- Communicate and coordinate with the Regional Sales Manager regarding customer service and loss prevention issues, participating in investigations.
- Develop action plans with Shop Managers to correct problems and oversee the implementation of company policies and procedures.
- Maintain shop cleanliness according to corporate guidelines, monitor equipment, and manage maintenance requirements.
- Ensure all territory human resource, payroll, and shop paperwork is accurate and submitted on time.
- Maintain shop visit schedules to ensure adequate on-site supervision for all shops.
- Ensure all shops comply with Safety Program guidelines, including accident prevention and emergency procedures.
- Demonstrate commitment to the company’s core principles and workplace values, including diversity and inclusion.
Requirements
- 3-5 years' experience in management of multiple retail outlets
- Proven excellent management, communication, and sales skills
- Ability to provide leadership and motivation to employees
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Physical ability to carry out the essential functions of the job, including driving, standing and/or walking for extended periods, lifting up to 25 pounds frequently
Qualifications
