About This Role

Drive business growth in the Northeast region by developing and executing sales strategies across multiple channels for a leading steel and steel products manufacturer.

Responsibilities

  • Confer with customers and representatives to promote improved and expanded sales
  • Plan and direct sales program to support or develop new markets and maintain existing customer accounts
  • Provide customer service and communication, including price adjustments
  • Coordinate sales with operations
  • Maintain, review, and revise costs
  • Increase sales for installation and service, and work with management to improve sales and service
  • Provide analysis, planning, and reporting to develop a competitive position
  • Perform or supervise all sales administrative functions
  • Develop and implement comprehensive business strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets
  • Lead the management of bid invitations, project documentation, and technical drawings
  • Handle complex customer interactions, including resolution of claims, disputes, and pricing discussions
  • Stay current with market trends, industry standards, and maintain proficiency in proprietary software systems
  • Drive revenue growth through direct sales activities and build strategic relationships with key stakeholders

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in consultative B2B sales
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or related field OR 4+ years of equivalent industry experience

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or related field OR 4+ years of equivalent industry experience
  • 3+ years of experience in consultative B2B sales

Nice to Have

  • Experience in manufacturer-to-dealer sales environments
  • Knowledge of sectional and rolling steel overhead door products
  • Experience with CRM tools, particularly MS Dynamics
  • Experience managing and developing remote sales teams
  • Familiarity with C.H.I. Dealer-focused marketing tools and software platforms
  • Track record of supporting sales growth through digital tools
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Understanding of Nucor internal sales process
