District Manager

About This Role

Accountable for the performance of Restaurant Management Teams, ensuring they meet job responsibilities and expectations to deliver total Guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all Team Members in the District are trained, motivated, and empowered to deliver total Guest satisfaction
• Evaluate each restaurant's QSC standards, providing regular feedback and coaching on improvement
• Communicate all customer comments and concerns to the appropriate Restaurant Manager and follow up
• Ensure all General Managers and GMITs receive appropriate orientation, training, and development opportunities
• Train, coach, and provide regular performance feedback to motivate and improve performance
• Evaluate overall performance of General Managers and GMITs based on clearly communicated standards
• Actively recruit new General Managers and GMITs and ensure Team Members are prepared for promotion
• Analyze business performance and initiate appropriate corrective actions when deviations occur from financial expectations
• Support company-wide marketing programs and evaluate local restaurant marketing strategies
• Ensure business and personnel practices are within the law and consistent with company policies
• Serve as a role model and set a positive example for the entire team
• Negotiate vendor contracts for the districts, following company approval process
• Uphold company food safety, food handling, and sanitation requirements

Requirements

• 7-10 years previous restaurant experience
• 3-5 years in management positions (preferably multi-unit restaurant experience)
• Financial planning aptitude including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and P & L management
• Possess a valid Driver's License and able to travel to assigned store locations 4-5 days per week
• Minimum 18 years old

Qualifications

• 7-10 years previous restaurant experience, with 3-5 years in multi-unit management positions
