District Manager Hardees

About This Role

Manage the performance of Hardees restaurant management teams within a district, ensuring high standards in hospitality, operational excellence (QSC), and financial results. This role involves extensive coaching, development, and recruitment of management staff.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all team members in the district are trained, motivated, and empowered to deliver total guest satisfaction
• Evaluate each restaurant's QSC (quality, service, cleanliness) standards, provide feedback, and conduct periodic inspections
• Communicate customer comments and concerns and follow up to ensure timely and effective resolution
• Ensure all General Managers and GMITs receive appropriate orientation, training, and development
• Train, coach, and provide regular performance feedback to motivate and improve team member performance
• Evaluate overall performance of General Managers and GMITs based on clearly communicated standards
• Provide appropriate and effective counseling and/or discipline
• Provide effective training and follow-up for new products, programs, and changes
• Actively recruit new General Managers and GMITs; ensure team members are prepared for promotion
• Analyze business performance and initiate corrective actions when deviations occur from financial expectations
• Negotiate vendor contracts for the districts; follow company approval process for contracts
• Uphold company food safety, food handling, and sanitation requirements

Requirements

• 7-10 years previous restaurant experience
• 3-5 years in management positions (preferably multi-unit restaurant experience including full-service, fast food or convenience)
• Financial planning aptitude including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and P & L management
• Valid Driver's License and able to travel to assigned store locations 4-5 days per week
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with others as a team
• Ability to meet performance standards
• Ability to take initiative and solve problems

Qualifications

• 7-10 years previous restaurant experience required, with 3-5 years in management positions (preferably multi-unit restaurant experience)
