Lead and inspire a team of sales professionals to achieve and exceed sales goals within a designated region, combining leadership, coaching, and direct sales. This role drives team performance and fosters growth within the fintech point of sale sector, focusing on strategic deals and recruiting top talent.
Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire a team of top-performing sales professionals to achieve and exceed sales goals
- Conduct weekly 1:1 meetings, pipeline reviews, and sales coaching sessions with the team
- Spend at least three days per week in the field working directly with the team to support and guide them through the sales process
- Focus on larger strategic deals within your territory
- Play a role in the recruiting process to ensure the team’s success
- Oversee the performance of the regional sales team, ensuring achievement of sales goals and alignment with company objectives
- Partner with team members to develop strategies to close more strategic sales opportunities and directly contribute to regional revenue growth
- Monitor team activity, track performance metrics, and ensure effective execution of the sales process
- Provide valuable insights to shape sales strategies and contribute to the company's success
- Assist the team in prospecting clients and maintaining client records in the CRM system
Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- Live in area relative to job posting location
- Ability to be in the field, a minimum of 75% of the time
- Experience leading outside sales team
- High school diploma/GED
Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
- At least two years of relevant experience leading an outside sales team; must have experience leading outside sales team
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of Restaurant and/or Retail industry
- Excellent prospecting, communication, presentation, and networking skills
- Training and Coaching experience
- Innate sales talent
- Enjoys cold-calling and speaking with people face to face
