This is a career law clerk position for a lawyer with strong legal research and writing skills, tasked with understanding and applying legal principles in a court setting. The role requires discretion, confidentiality, impartiality, and honesty.
Responsibilities
- Understand and apply legal principles, statutes, case law, and rules of procedure
- Identify legal issues
- Communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Work well with others
- Exercise discretion, confidentiality, impartiality, and honesty in handling all matters before the Court
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited law school
- Two years practicing law or legal experience
- Exceptional legal research and writing skills
- Ability to understand and apply legal principles, statutes, case law, and rules of procedure
- Ability to identify legal issues
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Ability to work well with others
- Ability to exercise discretion, confidentiality, impartiality, and honesty
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited law school
- Two years practicing law or legal experience
