About This Role

This role involves leading a high-performing placement team to deliver exceptional products and services for Acrisure’s clients, focusing on personal lines. The Director will drive operational excellence, manage carrier activities, and ensure compliance within a multi-state division.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Vice President of Placement to implement and execute a comprehensive placement strategy
  • Evaluate North American Specialty/International and carrier performance based on key metrics and provide feedback for continuous improvement
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable insurance laws, regulations, and carrier guidelines, communicating requirements to internal stakeholders
  • Accountable for ensuring that the division’s placement offerings are accessible, user-friendly, and dependable, creating winning experiences for teams and clients
  • Manage carrier activities, ensure efficient processes, resource allocation, and adherence to established policies and procedures
  • Serve as a key resource and contact for carrier partners, effectively representing organizational interests and utilizing marketing/training support
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and streamlining, leveraging technology and innovation
  • Collaborate with underwriting teams to assess client risks and tailor placement strategies while ensuring adherence to carrier guidelines
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure carrier placement performance and provide regular reports to senior leadership
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing carrier placement team, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment

  • Minimum 10 years progressive experience in insurance/financial services
  • Minimum 5 years industry related leadership experience in insurance operations, management, or administration

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in the insurance and/or financial services industries; minimum of 5 years of industry related leadership experience in insurance operations, insurance management, and/or insurance administration
