Join BAYADA Home Health Care as a Direct Support Professional, providing one-on-one care and companionship to individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities. Help clients achieve independence and engage in community activities within Erie County, PA.
Responsibilities
- Assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation
- Spend time on the client's favorite hobbies and activities
- Support the client's goals towards independence in the home and community
- Accompany clients on errands and appointments
- Participate in community integration activities to focus on socialization
Requirements
- One year experience working with intellectual and development disabilities
- High school diploma or equivalent (18+)
- Ability to transport clients to community activities
