Direct Care Worker - In Home Care

About This Role

This role is for an Independent Contracted Direct Care Worker to provide in-home support for older adults and individuals with physical and/or intellectual disabilities. You will help people achieve their goals, assist with daily living tasks, and monitor their safety and wellness.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in defining their own goals and provide guidance to reach milestones that improve their daily quality of life
• Provide emotional companionship and assist with essential household tasks, including meal preparation, grooming, laundry, and light housekeeping
• Monitor the medical, nutritional, and personal care needs of those you serve to ensure their well-being is being met

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Meet all Arizona state provider requirements, including a comprehensive background check and Class 1 Fingerprint Clearance
• Ability to complete all state-mandated training courses
• Reliability and excellent time management skills
• Effective communication skills
• Commitment to inclusion and respect for all individuals
• Proactive attitude and initiative
