Direct Support Professional

About This Role

Provide support and guidance to individuals with daily living skills and life activities, enabling them to live as independently as possible. This role focuses on promoting growth, discovery, and personal goal achievement.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the development of important daily living skills and life activities
• Create an environment where people can learn, grow and discover
• Help people identify and achieve their personal goals
• Monitor comfort and safety, ensuring medical, nutritional, and personal care needs are met
• Demonstrate emotional support while assisting with general housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry duties

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age
• Valid U.S. driver's license where applicable
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to perform frequent physical activity including standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting up to 25 pounds, and safely transferring 50 pounds

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• No experience needed, thorough training provided
