About This Role

As a Detection & Investigation Analyst Lead within PNC's FDO Zelle Fraud organization, you will be responsible for outbound Zelle fraud support, analyzing cases generated from enterprise fraud detection systems, and talking with customers about suspicious transactions. You will play a crucial role in minimizing fraud and organizational risk by performing early detection of suspicious activity and identifying control enhancements.

Responsibilities

  • Provide outbound Zelle fraud support
  • Analyze cases generated from enterprise fraud detection systems
  • Communicate with customers regarding suspicious transactions potentially indicative of fraud
  • Support Card Free ATM fraud investigations
  • Report suspected fraud incidents
  • Perform tasks to sustain and improve department processes and procedures as requested
  • Review and investigate customer cases, reports, and work for potential and actual financial loss
  • Research and analyze bank activities and reports to detect and prevent possible fraudulent and suspicious activities
  • Prepare and maintain appropriate documentation of analysis performed and coordinate with internal or external stakeholders

Requirements

  • Curiosity and ability to extrapolate future data from given information

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Passion for fraud detection and prevention

Qualifications

  • Bachelors
  • < 1 year of professional experience or successful completion of a formal development program; comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

  • Experience with Actimize, Service Browser, BlueZone (Mainframe/COR), EDGE, Excel, Google, ZAP, Avaya, Innovis, Web Browsers, WebView, Verint
