About This Role

This role will provide onsite and remote desktop support for users, managing hardware and software issues, and utilizing a tech genius bar model. The selected candidate will troubleshoot system, application, and hardware issues, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Provide onsite and remote desktop support to users
  • Support hardware issues including desktops, laptops, printers, monitors, and peripherals
  • Support software issues including OS, email, MS Office Suite (O365), AV, and collaboration tools
  • Provide basic Active Directory support (password resets, application access)
  • Support application and network connectivity issues and VPN
  • Apply desktop patches
  • Analyze issues and formulate solutions
  • Troubleshoot system, application, and hardware issues
  • Ensure customers are updated on ticket progress
  • Utilize internal IT Knowledge Base to provide and find solutions
  • Consistently update the ticket tracking system with status and fixes
  • Perform routine system maintenance on laptops and desktops
  • Track computer assets according to organizational standards
  • Perform installation and configuration of software including operating system, patches, and 3rd party products

Requirements

  • Experience with Windows 10 and MAC OSX support
  • Experience with hardware support (desktops, laptops, printers, monitors, peripherals)
  • Experience with software support (OS, email, MS Office Suite (O365), AV, collaboration tools)
  • Basic Active Directory experience (password resets, application access)
  • Knowledge of application and network connectivity issues, VPN
  • Experience with desktop patching
  • Proficiency in ServiceNow for ticket management and asset tracking
  • Excellent customer service and problem solving skills
  • Process and project-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience with a walk-up bar support model (tech genius bar)
  • Basic knowledge of network closet for backup support
