Provide operational and technical support for refinery Business LAN Desktop & Server environments at Marathon Petroleum's Martinez refinery. Translate business requirements into solutions and ensure reliability & security of infrastructure services.
Responsibilities
- Provide operational and technical support for refinery Business LAN Desktop & Server environments
- Understand business requirements and translate them into solutions
- Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary workgroups to seek solutions to problems
- Champion compliance & change efforts for improved reliability & security of infrastructure services
- Provide hardware and infrastructure support for customers at the Martinez refinery
- Handle Service Desk support/tickets and direct customer support
- Perform on-going technology maintenance as assigned
- Install, maintain, and support Field IT technology including desktop/laptop hardware and software
- Troubleshoot networked and stand-alone printers/copiers/scanners multi-function devices
- Support remote access technology, network switched Ethernet cabling, and audio visual equipment
