This is an 11-week paid internship opportunity where you will gain hands-on experience in T-Mobile's Data Engineering organization. You will contribute to the development and delivery of enterprise data products, helping to design and validate data pipelines, document metadata, and improve data quality across the lakehouse architecture.
Responsibilities
- Assist with building and validating data pipelines in the lakehouse environment.
- Support ingestion standardization by reviewing schemas, quality rules, and pipeline outputs.
- Perform data profiling to identify anomalies, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
- Help evaluate AI/ML model outputs or monitoring dashboards (as applicable).
- Summarize lessons learned, best practices, and enablement content for broader team use.
Requirements
- Actively enrolled in a degree program or graduated within the last year
- Foundational knowledge of data engineering concepts, including SQL, data modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, and cloud platforms.
- Experience with Python for data manipulation, scripting, or basic automation.
- Familiarity with cloud data ecosystems such as Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, or AWS.
