Data Center Operations Technician

About This Role

Provide technical assistance to end-users by diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and networking issues in a data center environment, ensuring timely resolution and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Respond to support requests via phone, email, and in-person
• Diagnose and resolve technical hardware, software, and networking issues
• Document issues and resolutions using internal tracking tools
• Monitor open tickets to ensure prompt and accurate resolution
• Follow established procedures and guidelines to perform daily tasks
• Work under close supervision and escalate issues when needed

Requirements

• 1+ year of Computer Hardware experience
• 1+ year of Computer Networking experience
• 1+ year of experience with Linux Operating Systems
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in elevated locations
• Familiarity with commonly used IT concepts, tools, and practices
• Ability to follow instructions and standard operating procedures consistently

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a related field (preferred)
• 0-3 years of technical support or related experience

Nice to Have

• RAID configuration and management
• Technical troubleshooting
• Support experience (help desk or onsite)
