D365 Developer

About This Role

The D365 Developer is responsible for designing, coding, testing, and documenting moderately complex applications, programs, and systems. This role involves leading project steps within broader initiatives and serving as a subject matter expert for application areas, technologies, or business processes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a full range of programming tasks including program design, development, debugging, estimating, unit testing, and documentation for various applications, systems, databases, or websites
• Gather and interpret system requirements and develop detailed system specifications
• Formulate and document design alternatives and recommendations
• Design, implement, and execute test plans; Prepare systems test data and program documentation
• Review application modules and check compliance with application architecture standards
• Provide ongoing maintenance of applications, systems, databases, or websites
• Provide third-level application support including on-call (after hours, weekends, holidays) for priority issues
• Troubleshoot complex production issues; Evaluate and follow through on issues and problems until resolved or escalated
• Conduct analysis to determine and plan for new programs, system integrations, or system upgrades
• Conduct analysis for the evaluation and selection of new vendor software solutions and packages
• Follow secure coding standards and address security scan alerts

Requirements

• Minimum High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
• 2-4 years of relevant experience
• Experience with D365 F&O implementations
• Experience with data migration and integrations between D365 and external systems
• Advanced knowledge of development concepts, practices, and procedures

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required; University degree or equivalent experience preferred
• 2-4 years of prior relevant experience
