Data Analyst

About This Role

Partner with stakeholders and HR leaders to translate business questions into functional requirements, design technical solutions, and develop and maintain self-service dashboards and reports primarily using Tableau. This role focuses on people analytics with sensitive HR data.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to understand business questions and translate them into clear functional requirements
• Collaborate with HR and business leaders to interpret results and communicate insights effectively
• Design and document technical solutions, including data models, data flows, and reporting specifications
• Develop, enhance, and maintain self-service dashboards and reports (primarily in Tableau)
• Test, validate, and document deliverables to identify discrepancies and ensure reporting accuracy
• Maintain people data quality rules, definitions and strategy
• Apply best-practice compliance and governance standards when working with sensitive HR data

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in people analytics, HR analytics, or a similar data-focused role
• Significant, hands-on experience building dashboards and reports in Tableau
• Proficiency in SQL and experience working with large datasets from platforms such as Snowflake or Oracle
• Knowledge and experience working with complex data models and dimensional modeling techniques
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for business stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple challenging projects that require creativity and problem solving

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Human Resources, Business, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in people analytics, HR analytics, or a similar data-focused role

Nice to Have

• Knowledge or experience in converting raw system data into analytics-ready datasets using dbt or similar tools
• Experience with Python
• Experience with UKG/ICIMS
