CVOR Nurse

About This Role

A Registered Nurse with CVOR specialization is needed to provide expert assistance during cardiovascular surgical procedures, focusing on advanced vein harvesting techniques. This role is crucial for delivering exceptional patient care in cardiac surgery environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert assistance during cardiovascular surgical procedures
• Perform vein harvesting with endoscopic proficiency
• Support other surgical departments as needed when cardiac cases are not scheduled
• Maintain patient safety and surgical standards throughout care

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) license with CVOR specialization
• Proven skill in endoscopic vein harvesting with 3s or 4s experience in vein harvesting and cardiac areas

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant nursing experience strongly preferred

Nice to Have

• Previous travel nursing experience is a plus
• Ability to perform as a Surgical First Assistant (SFA) or Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) considered advantageous
• Flexibility to provide general department first assist coverage, including orthopedic, vascular, gynecological, thoracic, and general surgeries, as needed
