About This Role

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for warmly welcoming patients, collecting essential information for hospital check-ins, and providing compassionate assistance during the registration process. This role is a starting point for a career in healthcare, focusing on accurate data entry and patient support.

Responsibilities

  • Work on computers and answer phones to intake information in a busy environment
  • Input details across multiple screens accurately between physician and nurse check-ins
  • Work across multiple programs and type quickly while patients talk
  • Assist patients who may be ill or worried by listening carefully to ease their anxiety
  • Ask follow-up questions and build rapport in real time
  • Assist patients on your feet to complete their registration
  • Acquire knowledge through training regarding variations in health plans and coverage

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Excellent customer service experience
  • Confident multi-tasker
  • Quick study with technology
  • Ability to type and answer phones
  • Up to date on all vaccinations
  • Pass a drug test
  • Pass a background check

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • No previous healthcare experience required
