Join Piedmont Airlines as a Customer Service Gate Agent to assist passengers with boarding, manage flight itineraries, and ensure a smooth travel experience. This role is crucial for delivering industry-leading service in a dynamic airport environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist passengers in boarding and disembarking flights
- Monitor computerized passenger boarding
- Assist customers with special needs, including arranging for wheelchairs and unaccompanied minors
- Change customer flight itinerary and seat assignments as required
- Operate the Jetway
- Work as a team to provide excellent customer service and meet corporate objectives
Requirements
- Successful completion of Gate Agent training course
- Ability to lift seventy (70) pounds
- Ability to work all shifts, weekends, nights, holidays and/or irregular shifts
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and multitask
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Valid driver’s license and clear driving record
- Clear 10-year Criminal History Records Check
- Pass drug screen
Qualifications
- High school or GED completion
Nice to Have
- Previous airline experience
- Previous employment as a front-line customer service provider
- Basic knowledge of computer applications and programs
