About This Role

Join Piedmont Airlines as a Customer Service Gate Agent, providing industry-leading service by assisting passengers with boarding, managing computerized passenger boarding, and handling itinerary changes.

Responsibilities

  • Assist passengers in boarding and disembarking flights
  • Monitor computerized passenger boarding
  • Assist customers with special needs, including arranging for wheelchairs and unaccompanied minors
  • Change customer flight itinerary and seat assignments as required
  • Operate the Jetway
  • Work as a team to provide excellent customer service and meet corporate objectives

Requirements

  • Successful completion of training course
  • Ability to lift seventy (70) pounds
  • Ability to work all shifts, including weekends, nights, holidays and/or irregular shifts
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Clear driving record
  • Minimum 18 years of age

Qualifications

  • High school or GED completion
  • Entry level position, no prior experience mentioned but previous airline or front-line customer service is preferred.

Nice to Have

  • Previous airline experience
  • Previous employment as a front-line customer service provider
  • Basic knowledge of computer applications and programs
