About This Role

Join Lovelace Health System as a full-time Customer Service Coordinator, providing direct customer service and front desk assistance in a clinic setting. This role involves admitting, registering, scheduling patients, verifying insurance, handling transactions, and ensuring compliance to make healthcare better.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct customer service and front desk assistance for the assigned department
  • Admit, register, schedule patients, and verify insurance
  • Handle customer account transactions
  • Provide customer assistance
  • Perform and/or oversee cashiering operations
  • Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Medical Terminology knowledge
  • Knowledge of office procedures
  • Knowledge of insurance plans
  • Skilled in a variety of software applications
  • One (1) year of previously related experience

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • One (1) year of previously related experience.

Nice to Have

  • Associate’s Degree in a related field of study
  • Previous medical office experience
  • Heart Saver certification
